ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
CC LEADER
CC Leader Responsibilities 12:15 - 12:55 PM + Appoint any adaptation of roles due to absences, etc. _______________________________ 1:00 - 2:00 PM +Make sure classrooms are set for Thursday + Set up games + Sort Lanyards for groups _______________________________ 2:00 - 2:45 + Peek in on various classes to find any needs for support and to observe for shoutouts. _______________________________ 2:45 - 3:25 PM + Distribute name tag lanyards and direct groups to a room. + Rotate games every 11 minutes (give a one-minute warning) _______________________________ 3:25 - 3:30 PM + Give any shoutouts and lead closing prayer. + Head to sanctuary to intercept and monitor students. Keep them corralled at the stage (they should not be running around or opening snacks during this time).
GAME LEADERS
Game Leader Responsibilities 12:15 - 12:55 PM + 12:40 PM - Prompt students to throw away trash and return belongings to backpacks on chairs. Dismiss those who need to use restroom* (One mom takes kids to RR and then outside). + 12:45 PM - One mom walks children outside and one stays behind to monitor any stragglers. *All moms meet outside to monitor children at play. + 12:55 PM - Call students to line up. + One mom takes EEL (Group 3) to wash hands, then drops students off with Mrs. Beier before heading to assist with Group 2. _______________________________ 1:00 - 2:00 PM + Drop off your CC Cards or reference guide in your game room. + Make sure you are familiar with the game you'll lead. + If you have a child in EEL and are free during this hour, please observe this class. _______________________________ 2:00 - 2:45 PM + Assist with Fine Arts as needed. _______________________________ 2:45 - 3:25 PM + Keep the game moving along to help children get in as much review as possible. + If a child doesn't answer fairly quick (with 1-2 hints), initiate attention-grabber, group answers in unison. _______________________________ 3:25 - 3:30 PM + After shoutouts and prayer, place your game pieces in the CC Game Bin (in room 103 cabinet). + Set up room for Thursday (based on picture) & turn off light when done.
HELPERS
Helper Responsibilities 12:15 - 12:55 PM +12:15 PM - Assist 2nd Hour Classroom teachers with tidying rooms and resetting for Thursday. 12:30 PM - Help maintain orderliness of children in the sanctuary. *Make sure you are familiar with the game you will help lead. _______________________________ 1:00 - 2:00 PM + Groups 1 & 2 are walked in to wash hands. Keep children orderly and quiet in the hallway outside Room 105 until Fine Arts teacher is ready. + Actively monitor the students in Fine Arts, assisting however needed. _______________________________ 2:00 - 2:45 PM + Begin with presentations (know whose turn it is that week) + Time students and hold up the "1" & "3" yellow card to indicate minimum and max. minutes speaking time. + Promote proper audience and question etiquette (3 questions per presenter) + Get "wiggles" out, then read CC-related book. _______________________________ 2:45 - 3:25 PM + Have CC Cards or other reference guide handy. + Ask game leader how you can best assist (usually by keeping score and making tallies on name tags). + Help redirect kids as needed to keep everyone engaged in review. _______________________________ 3:25 - 3:30 PM + Be present for shoutouts and closing prayer in hallway. + Help return materials and set room for Thursday. + Collect your children and belongings from sanctuary in order to clear the church as efficiently as possible.
CIVIL 6 FACILITATOR
Civil 6 Facilitar Responsibilities 12:15 - 12:55 PM +12:15 - Check in with CC leader to help monitor lunch or jump in with extra hands when needed. _______________________________ 1:00 - 2:00 PM + Ask CC Leader/extra hands how you can be a blessing to others during this hour. + If you have a child in EEL and are free during this hour, please observe this class. _______________________________ 2:00 - 2:45 PM + Help return EEL binders to backpacks in sanctuary + Check in with CC leader/extra hands; fill in if needed. + Pop in to observe. classes and look for shoutouts _______________________________ 2:45 - 3:25 PM + Review math facts (Number Knockout) + Facilitate Presentations + CC Memory Work review games _______________________________ 3:25 - 3:30 PM + After shoutouts & prayer, set room for Thursday, then collect your children and belongings from the sanctuary to go home.
FLOATERS
Floater Responsibilities 12:15 - 12:55 PM + Clean sanctuary once groups have left. (Sweep with the big broom.) _______________________________ 1:00 - 2:00 PM + Vacuum classrooms and hallway _______________________________ 2:00 - 2:45 PM + Fill in for any mom who is absent, etc. + Ask CC leader how you can help. _______________________________ 2:45 - 3:25 PM + Set up for Snack Shack. (You will be in charge of snacks after games - 9 or fewer points = 1 snack; 10+ points = 2 snacks.) _______________________________ 3:25 - 3:30 PM + After shoutouts and prayer, lead a group of students from the hallway to snack shack. + Collect/clean/return name lanyards to bin.
